Who Are They
The Denver-based band behind the popular songs “How To Save A Life” and “Over My Head”. The band formed in 2002, knowing each other from Christian school and playing in worship bands together. “How To Save A Life” is one of the top ten longest-charting singles of all time.
What Are Their Messages
When asked about his faith, lead singer Isaac Slade told Relevant Magazine, “I have more questions than I did before. I think I'm beginning to accept that faith starts with mystery, child-like wonder at what the world is. Then it goes into all the different paths of life. I'm not sure what they are, but probably something like discipline, prayer, knowledge.”
What Does A Youthworker Need2Know
The Fray are four talented young men who, like many bands before them, grew up and were rooted in the church. Some members even played in their worship bands. They seem to occupy the same type of space as bands like Mumford & Sons and OneRepublic, who write positive, honest songs with spiritual overtones.
