Bible Study
Read Psalm 139:7-12
This passage tells us that there is no place we can run, hide, drift nor wander to where God is not present. This includes our darkest moments.
We often go through times in our lives when the presence of God seems far away. Maybe we feel like we haven’t heard from Him, or that He hasn’t answered our prayers, or that we have run so far away from Him that He can’t find us. The Bible is clear that this never the case.
God is omnipresent, which means that He is always everywhere: there is no place He is not present. God is omniscient, which means He always knows everything: there is nothing that is hidden from Him. God is omnipotent, which means He is all powerful: there is no obstacle He can’t overcome. Not only is God omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent, He is Love!

Not only is there no place we can run, hide, drift nor wander to where God is not present, but there is nothing you, nor I, nor anyone can do to separate us from God’s love for us as His children. As a follower of Christ, next time you feel God is absent and/or that you have lost His love, remember these simple truths of scripture and trust that He is always there and always loving you.
If you have never accepted Christ as your Savior, your sin separates you from His presense. However, it does not separate you from His love...He has shown His love for you by the sacrifice Jesus paid on the cross for your sins! You, too, can find the ultimate peace knowing you will never be separated from the God who created you and will know His love for you now and through eternity.
