Ask the students to raise their hand with anything they have written down during the video. Have them share any similarities between how they felt during the game versus the lyrics in the video.
Bible Study
Have the students break into groups with each taking one of the following Bible passages. Ask the students to discuss how these Scriptures speak to our lives as we live out our purpose in Christ, with confidence in ourselves because of who we know Christ is. Have each group share at least one way that we as believers can live more fearlessly because of Christ, based on each passage.
Hebrews 10:35-36
Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
2 Corinthians 12:9
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Wrap Up
Remind the students that with Christ in our lives, we are able to live fearlessly, unapologetically, and with confidence in who we are because of Jesus’ sacrifice. We are called to live out our purpose through our unique gifts and character with confidence to shine a light in the world and spread the Gospel.
End the study on a light and fun note by showing the students this behind-the-scenes video of the “Coming In Hot” music video shoot.
